Betterez Brand Positioning & Brand Identity Development – Betterez is a global leader in booking and ticketing technology for the ground travel industry, but it took a rebrand to identify what business they are really in.  Betterez engaged A&M to help crystallize their brand purpose. They understood the need to improve customer experiences in the ground travel category.  Ridesharing has been driving the customer-focused trend forward, and Betterez makes it easier to book ground travel, but more importantly, it gives bus operators cutting edge tools that make their businesses more efficient, and more competitive.

Through the research process, we heard that the ticketing platform was just the beginning. The technology went far beyond that single action and was considered more of an operational hub Betterez clients used to transform their businesses. The strategic platform is rooted in the idea of pushing ground transportation forward. With tools that would be otherwise unobtainable for operators big and small.

The mark is bold, and flexible, embracing the brand’s purpose through supporting iconography. The colour palette is sustainable, transportation inspired, and has a timeless feel, but when paired with modern type, photography and composition create an experience that is travel tech versus just plain old travel.

The rebrand impacted every aspect of their business, from their new, and much more specific focus on bus travel versus the broader ground transportation category to all business and communication tools including the website, marketing materials and presentations for the brand’s relaunch at Collision in Toronto.
