Inspired by concepts in Europe and Asia, bike cafés were a new concept to Toronto: a combination of fine coffee culture with road and commuter bike culture. Get a double espresso shot while you wait for your tune-up.
If you have figured it out, the name points to both functional aspects, while being simple, succinct and unique. The café itself is a gallery of sorts, displaying highly curated bikes and accessories, many of which could only be found exclusively at Fix.
The inspiration for the identity drew on cultural institutions to create a modern and artful brand experience to match the physical experience of being in the café environment. This is a great example of how a clear brief helps uncover a perfect name, which leads into a well-articulated visual brand that pulls seamlessly into the physical brand experience. So, when you need a fix — either one — you will know where to go.

When we started we didn't have a name. Now we have an incredible brand for our growing community.
